Hour of Slack #1665 – The Drugs (rerun #905)

THIS EPISODE IS TOTALLY INEBRIATED! We weren’t, NECESSARILY, when we assembled this show in August of the so-called year “2003,” but the episode itself is WAY high. The mad audio mutator, Mr. Fernandinande LeMur, was on a real tear then, as were we of the ESO Swamp Radio Show on WCSB in Cleveland. That was Prof. Chas Smith’s show, which became the aptly named Brain Rot Radio Theater during the sections with Lonesome Cowboy Dave, Rev. Stang. and Princess Wei. Other arteests represented include DJ Pooh and Mistah Grimm, Lump5, Phineas Narco, Puzzling Evidence Show with Philo Drummond and Dr. Hal, Elvis Hitler, NOFX, Heart Ignition, CD Truth, The Streets, and “jarto.” All in all this is one of our nuttier shows. One might be hard pressed to see how this material intersects with a sober subject like “Bob” Dobbs and the Church of the SubGenius.
