A GENEROUS donation has been made to a South Cumbrian charity.
Last week the Cumbria Freemason’s presented a cheque for £2,170 to Millom based charity A Skye Full of Stars.
The charity was set up in memory of Skye Mitchell who tragically died alongside her friend, Caitlin Huddleston, when the car they were in collided with a van near Bootle in 2017.
The charity offers funding to young people to help them achieve their dreams.
A spokesman for A Skye Full of Stars said: “We are so very pleased and grateful to have received a cheque for £2170 tonight from the Freemasons of Millom.
“An amazingly generous donation which we can’t wait to give back to our young people.”
The charity award grants to children/young people aged 25 and under in the local area, to help them fulfil their dreams. Including, college/university students, sports awards, dance, and music.
