Hour of Slack #1689 – Philo’s X-Day Report (from 2003)

Our show producer and host Rev. Ivan Stang suffered a head injury from a t-post driver last weekend while building a fence, and he’s still hallucinating, so this show is a rerun. It’s a good one though, half Puzzling Evidence Show and half clips from 6X-Day (2003). (And half media barrage and and half thrash-punk music. Perpetrators besides Philo, Dr. Hal, Stang and Puzzling Evidence include a super-group composed of The Amino Acids, Einstein’s Secret Orchestra, and The Swingin’ Love Corpses, The Minoan Brain Eaters, NOFX, CD Truth, Rev. Nickie Deathchick, Sinpaltimus Exmortis, Zozodada; there’s also a lot of Media Barrage #3 “UFOs” from 1982, including the third-ever radio talk show appearance of Stang and Drummond, on the old KFJZ George Nolan show — with Stang’s rancher brother calling in to report cattle mutilations!
