Hour of Slack #1707 – Tribute to Dr. Legume – Part 5

The first and last thirds of this fifth salute to the SubGenius hero and demon Dr. K’taden Legume come from Hour of Slack #467, from late 1993, with Stang reading two newspaper articles about Legume’s confrontations with televangelists, in person, in Philadelphia. Then it jumps to the very last things we recorded of Dr. Legume on stage, in this case at 20 X-Day in 2017. Legume discusses chaos, of all things! Also on the panel are Dr. Onan Canobite, Dr. Hal and Rev. Stang, and it ends with the start of the Bulldada Auction. Finally, just because it was part of that old Hour of Slack #467, we take a break from Tales of Legume to hear the very strange but polished APOCALYPSE NOW – THE OPERA from Radio Shorts, some West Coast weirdos we used to trade tapes with.
