The band Oingo Boingo in the 1980s seemed riveting to, of all people, filmmakers of that era, which included Rev. Stang. Maybe that’s why the band leader, Danny Elfman, and guitarist Steve Bartek, ended up composing so many Hollywood movie scores after the band thinned out.
