Hour of Slack #1807 RADIO SAFE VERSION

RADIO SAFE VERSION.

This episode is another of those perverted group marriages of young, old and in between. From Hour of Slack #88 we hear the young Puzzling Evidence, Paul Mavrides, Dr. Hal, Ivan Stang, Pope Sternodox, St. Byron Werner and Dr. Philo Drummond. We hear those selfsame early apostles as doddering old codgers, in an excerpt from Sandy Boone’s fine documentary film. In between, from the future year of 2000, we hear the middle aged Stang, Lonesome Cowboy Dave, and Professor Chas Smith back before the wars and the diseases and deaths, when we were all ever so happy-go-Slacky. There is not much music but what there is, is The Rudy Schwartz Project and Shemekia Copeland. By coincidence, every level of show age includes background music composed by Nino Rota for Fellini’s 8 1/2, performed by various artists including Snakefinger and The Potatoes.
