Harvey Spencer Lewis, FRC served as Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC from 1915-1939.

In this essay, he uses the analogy of the wise planning and construction of a house to illustrate the principles on which he built the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, and which can be applied to our own endeavors.
