Hour of Slack #1720 – Cerebral and Spiritual Mash-Ups

This one’s an all chock-a-block mash-up of mash-ups. Rev. Susie the Floozie pointed us to some very novel video/audio mash-ups on YouTube, especially some by Bill McClintock — expert combinations of popular music from disparate periods in time and styles. Smushed in between those are excerpts from fired-up SubGenius devival rants (Stang and ESO from 2000, and Pope David Meyer from 1983) and Bold Surrealist radio shows such as Puzzling Evidence, Time for the Show (with Dr. Philo Drummond guesting) and the Maul-Brujaja duo. There’s also media barrages, new music by The Psycho Skeletons and Massive Hotdog Recall, and Brother Cleve “Donut” Dunkan’s great Dobbs hymn, “”Bob” Is My Load (and He’s Comin’ Again)”.
