RADIO-SAFE, “CLEAN VERSION of Stang’s Oingo Boingo Fanboy Tribute Show. We start with two new Trump-bashing songs — SORRY, SNOWFLAKES — CRY!! — by Roy Zimmerman and Bob Walkenhorst, and then it goes into an all-Oingo Boingo first-two-albums tribute show with Stang explaining before each song why he identifies with it so much. The band Oingo Boingo in the 1980s seemed riveting to, of all people, filmmakers of that era, which included Rev. Stang. Maybe that’s why the band leader, Danny Elfman, and guitarist Steve Bartek, ended up composing so many Hollywood movie scores after the band thinned out.
