By popular demand: a guide on how to summon succubi.
What are Succubi?
A succubus (plural form succubi) is a female sex demon. The word succubus is derived from Latin word succuba, meaning “paramour” (from succub[āre]) and “to lie under” (suc- “under” + cubāre “to lie” + -a).
One of the earliest examples of the succubus myth is the folkoric Lilith, first wife of Adam, who – after fleeing from him during a fight by invoking the name of God – became a succubus, creeping back into Eden to copulate with him in his sleep to produce demonic children. According to Zoharistic Kabbalah, Samael, the Angel of Death, had four succubi consorts: Lilith, Mahalath, Agrat Bat Mahlat, and Naamah. In some interpretations, all but Lilith conceive offspring; in other interpretations, the children of Lilith are known as lilim.
In Arabian mythology, the qarînah is a female sex demon with roots in ancient Egyptian and pre-Islamic myths who was visible only to those with “second sight” (and sometimes household pets), but “has relations during sleep as is known by the dreams.” In India, the succubus is known as a Mohini, a lone female spirit draped in a white saree with long, untamed hair, haunting lone roads and pathways for male victims. The sea-faring version of the succubus myth is the siren; the air-faring version is the harpy.
Succubi are generally depicted as young, beautiful women with avian or reptilian features, such as talons, serpentine tails or forked tongues. Some have horns and cloven feet. Penetration of their genitals is said to be “akin to entering a cavern of ice.” The Malleficus Maleficarum, or ‘Hammer of the Witches’ (1486), speculated that succubi collected the semen of their victims and their gave them to incubi, their male counterparts, which was then used by the incubi to impregnate their female victims. Thus, nocturnal emissions were often blamed on demonic visitation. Children born of the union between incubi and human women were called ‘cambions,’ and they were allegedly deformed or more susceptible to supernatural visitation. Some went on to become famous; Merlin was – according to folklore – himself a cambion.
Although succubi are generally depicted as malevolent and predatory, not all reports support this. According to Walter Mapes in De Nugis Curialium (Trifles of Courtiers), Pope Sylvester II (946–1003) had a long-time affair with a succubus named Meridiana, who assisted him in his ascent through the Catholic Church’s ranks. He confessed and repented for the affair shortly before his death.
Thus, whereas most spells pertinent to succubi are interested in their exorcism, some magicians have endeavored to contact succubi benignly. The following spells have that intention in mind.
Summoning a Succubus
This version of a succubus summoning ritual was in vogue during the Victorian era. It was to be performed during a new moon.
Step #1: Clearly mark the floor with a white chord (or white chalk) and make a protective circle or pentagram. It is important that nothing disrupts the protective circle. Even a bit of dirt across the white line could ruin the spell.
Step #2: Take 3 black candles (or 5) and place them equal distances apart inside the circle.
Step #3: Outside the circle, make 3 or 5 (same number as the candles) protective talismans or sigils around you.
Step #4: If possible, create an outer circle made from crushed protective herbs mixed together.
Step #5: Calm yourself and relax. Centre yourself.
Step #6: Now, visualize the circle around you, protecting you and separating you from the rest of your house.
Step #7: Once you have done that, and the candles are lit, lay in the pentagram position (arms straight out, legs apart) and summon the succubus (or incubus).
Step #8: Feel her come into the circle and feel her power.
Step #9: Feel her coalesce into a physical, or semi physical form and now you’ll be able to interact with her.
This ritual, originally drafted by Ryan of How to Summon a Succubus, focuses contact with lilim, daughters of Lilith. It involves the pricking of one’s finger for purposes of drawing blood.
“Materials you need: candle (any Color, any kind except tealights), paper, pen, needle
Location: A place where you are alone and undisturbed
Time: 3 a.m.-6 a.m.Conducting the ritual: Make sure you are in a comfortable position (preferably sitting). Clear your mind and start formulating what you want in your mind.
You will start this letter by addressing Lilith. Now I will not elaborate on titles since it is a matter of belief. However you should always address her with the highest amount of respect. Never use words /sentences like:
“I command you, Obey me, I order you,” etc.
Respect, respect, respect! For example:
“Great Lilith, I seek your blessing, I ask a favour of you if it please you,” etc.
Right your thoughts to paper. This is NOT a essay so no need to watch out for grammar or spelling. Write what you are thinking. The first few sentences will be normal but try to let go and write what you really want from your heart. Do not think about it, just write. Repeat things you want as many times as you want. There is no set limit as how much you should write. Only when you feel that all your wishes have been expressed in full then its time to end the letter by once again addressing Lilith and thanking her for considering your request.
End the letter with the following sentence:
“All these words are my hearts desire, I mean them truthfully and swear to them in name and blood.”
Sign the paper in your full birth name and then prick your finger with the needle and let one drop of blood soak into the paper. [To locally anesthetize the area, hold an icecube against your fingertip for half a minute.]
After you have finished with your letter, lay it in front of the candle and begin to meditate. Take your time and concentrate on everything you wrote. Focus your desire on the letter. Once you feel you are ready then say the following
“Lilith, please receive this offering. I give it truthfully and willingly.“
Burn the paper without folding it. While it is burning say:
“May the light of this candle burn brightly and guide your daughter to me.”
IMPORTANT: Make sure you leave the candle burning for at least another 30 minutes. Relax yourself and clear your mind.
The effect can be (and mostly is) immediate. You will feel small gusts of cold air brush your cheeks. A tingling on your skin that feels as if your hairs have been gently touched. Depending on how sincere you where and your overall ability you might feel a tightness in your chest as if your breast is pinched. It is PARAMOUNT that you let this happen without breaking your meditation. You will feel aroused and your breathing will become faster.
At some stage, your arousal will become so strong that you will loose concentration. If that is the case then say the following:
“I thank you daughter of Lilith for coming to me. I welcome you into my life and into my dreams and ask all other spirits, demons and entities who have been attracted to my ritual to begone and leave in peace.”
Blow out the candle and then go to bed.
If you felt something during the ritual you will feel it starting up again. Relax, lay on your back and let it happen. How far you take it depends on how far you can relax. It will be different then being with a real women. You will not see her, nor will you feel her skin or body. She however can touch you and interact with you.
Do not push it. If you feel that you cannot experience more then just her touching you then accept it and anticipate your next encounter.”
